Doug Achin of Cohasset, MA has joined the landscaping division of E. Sheehan Corp. in Hanson, MA. Doug has more than 20 years of experience in the landscaping and horticulture industry, most recently as the owner of Horticultural Design Solutions, which specialized in landscape design and installation, including sustainable and organic gardens.
“We are very pleased to have somebody with Doug’s experience and expertise on the team,” said Ed Sheehan, Owner of E. Sheehan Corp. “Doug gives our landscaping customers a much broader range of services from which to choose, including exceptional hardscaping installations and sustainable options for their yards and gardens.”
Previously, Doug was the manager of Esposito’s Nursery in Cohasset, MA. He also managed the Freshwater Farms garden center in Atkinson, NH, and ran the landscape construction division of Roots and Shoots Nursery in Rhode Island.
Doug is a graduate of North Adams State College (now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts). He is a member of the Boston Mycological Society, American Hosta Society, and the Northeast Organic Farming Association.
